With your trusty fishing pole in hand, find a fishing hole at most bodies of water. It might be wise to clear the area of monsters so you can focus on the fish. When you fish you will level up your fishing skill with each successful catch. Be wary because Monsters have been known to find themselves on the other side of the fishing pole. Always be prepared for battle if you find yourself so unlucky. Fishing will allow you to catch fish which you can use for cooking recipes in the cafeteria. You might also catch some materials from dead Monsters in the water or catch a live Monster which may drop some materials upon being killed. Higher fishing skill will allow you to see rarer fishing holes since you will have honed your skills to see the fish's movements in the water. Higher fishing level will also allow you to catch lower-level fish easier. Quests will be available to unlock certain rare fishing holes from high level quest areas.
